EXCERPT: “BOISE, IDAHO: Boise Contemporary Theater (BCT) has announced that Benjamin Burdick will be the company’s producing artistic director. Burdick, who served as managing director for the 2018-19 season, will succeed Matthew Cameron Clark.
“We are blessed to have the talents of Ben as part of the BCT family,” said Will Fowler, the board of trustees president, in a statement. “Not only can he run the operations side of the theatre, but he’s a talented artist, director, and producer. We have an exciting season and are looking forward to Ben’s leadership.”
Burdick, an Idaho native, is an award-winning actor who began his career in the arts working primarily in Los Angeles. Burdick previously served as the associate artistic director of L.A.’s Open Fist Theatre Company. He is a graduate of Yale.”
