20|21 Mainstage Season

20|21 MAINSTAGE SEASON

Friends,

We held on for as long as we possibly could, hoping against hope that we’d be able to gather before the end of this 20|21 season. It is hard to comprehend that we have been shuttered for one year. It is even harder to comprehend that the closure will continue for the entirety of our theatrical season. While we consider the MainStage productions we have missed, I am also reminded of the 5X5 Readings; I miss the laughter and voices of our young artists echoing through the classrooms in Theater Lab; I recall the gathering of families for our Children’s Reading Series, and the wide eyes of those youngest in the audience for their first time seeing a play.

In short, I miss gatherings. BCT misses you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unparalleled and ever-changing waters. Your generosity and encouragement over the past year has inspired us to continue to fight to keep the lights lit. As ever, we remain steadfastly optimistic about our return next fall. As we like to say, the doors will open with great joy and abandon as we welcome you all back to the thought-provoking stories you’ve come to expect.

There will be more soon about next Season. Stay tuned and, until then, we’ll keep the ghost light lit.

With much appreciation,
Benjamin Burdick
